Belper Rail were involved in a significant project to modify ex BR vehicles to become compliant to the PRM TSI. 

Belper Rail were responsible for the following aspects:

• Mass management for the change

• Engineering assessment of the mass change on the key issues related to mass such as ride, gauging, structures, etc.

• Investigation of braking requirements resulting from the change in mass

• Witnessing of vehicle weighing

• Overall approvals for the modification

• Clause by Clause Submissions
